Hi, I have a 2000 Mari Star 210 and the gas guage doesn't appear to be working. It registers full all the time. Any suggestions as to things to do to pin point what is not working, either the guage or the sensor. thanks Bob

Locate sender, get out an ohmeter (multimeter), and check the resistance of the sender at different fill levels. If it is within range (usually stamped on the sender somewhere) and seeming to vary with fill level like it should, it is likely OK.
BTW- this likely isn't the best place for this question. General or Maintenance section would probably be better.

Try disconnecting the two wires on the sender unit, the gage should drop to E.
Typically gage will read pegged on e if wires are open and pegged on full if wires are put together, this is quick way to see if gage is broken or something wrong with the sending unit.

If you have the same sender as me, search the forum for "Float magnet".
Here's (http://mastercraft.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=31039&highlight=float+magnet) one thread.
