Let's get rid of all the bad joo-joo regarding CR and move onto the cool stuff.

Just spent the last weekend at the river and had a great time. Air temp was 122 at it's peak and 111 at 10:30 on Sunday night.... it was HOT!!!

Got some cool pics, though!

It is tough to beat. $91 a night for weekend, weekday, holiday, etc. Place has docks, a ramp and is walking distance (long walk) to Roadrunner, but who really cares when you have a RoadRaper in your hands, how long the walk is! :D

We actually spent a lot of time in the Keys at a few friends places... it was INSANELY, INSANELY hot in there. Water had to be in the 90's in the back channel.

It's even better if the wife/girlfriend has one on the walk, you know you'll be getting some tonight :D

I watched a 2nd grade school teacher (very modest before the rr) turn into a table dancing stripper after only 1-1/2 of those rapers, her husband litterally had to drag her to the boat to get her outa there, it was a great show for a little while, those things are dangerous :D

so that's where you get those roadrapers??? My friends were talking about that last year how they always stop there on the way home for RR's before the haul back to Phoenix. Where exactly is this at tho? Never been there, but it looks way shorter to drive to parker than all the way to Havasu.

The RoadRunner has the RoadRapers and it's on the Parker strip, and Havasu is 26 miles further north than Parker. Our place is up by the dam so I'm only a 1/2 mile from where I can put the boat in Havasu if we want.

You have to give me some details... have thought about taking a trip to Parker but don't know much about it. Is it a lake or part of the CO river? For somebody without a place to stay, where do you put in? Place to dock the boat overnight or just load it back on the trailer every night? Maybe most importantly - is it worth doing for a weekend from Phoenix or is it no different than the local lakes? Advantages/disadvantages?

I've heard good things about the river sections as you can always find glassy water, but have also heard you really have to know what you're doing navigating those sections. I've also heard the water can be pretty chilly, though this time of year that would be an advantage.

The Parker strip is a section of the Colorado River between lake Havasu (parker dam) and Blue Water Resort, about 11 miles from dam to dam. There are all kinds of places to stay & launch, from campground beach camping to resorts with docks & slips. As for navigation, there are places you need to know about if you like your prop & shaft to stay on the boat. Water temp? nice!!! alot colder up at the dam where the water is comming from the bottom of Havasu, it's great and not any colder than the local lakes.

Hi,
I have two main menus created, one is public and one is for registered users - they are set up so registered users can access public pages for editing. I did this by selecting specific items from the menu lists rather than setting display to "All" or "None". However, there is no displayed menu on the lost password and lost username pages, and I cant figure out how to add either of those to my hidden menu so I can set the menu display for those. I was able to set the displayed menu for the Login page, but the lost password and lost username pages are separate from that, I guess. How can I add the lost information pages to my menu, or how could I otherwise display a menu on them?
Thanks so much,
Sarah

The wife and I had a road trip this weekend to the Ritz Carlton at Lake Oconee. Had a great time and saw lots of MC's. The funny part was having the truck and boat parked by a valet.

I am sort of pissed at myself, I should have caught it. I noticed that my guide post on that side was shaking more than normal, but thought it was just the road. I am sure there was a bulge in the tire. Had I just pulled over, I probably would have caught it before it blew out. :o

Sweet rig Cameron.

I had the same thing happen to be with 20 miles of buying my 06. Damn Marathon just disintegrated going 70 mph. Knowing how OCD you are about your boat we can see that the Marathons come apart even with proper maintenance.

Where were you headed?

I've only been there twice with friends...We have a place on Gantt Lake north of Andalusia, only 5 minutes from the house so we don't haul very far.
