Need to buy a combo set of adult skis and eventually a double boot slalom ski.

Would like to see them in person prior to purchasing.

With Lanier, Allatoona and all the North Ga lakes so close, I would think there would have to be a half decent watersports shop somewhere nearby.

Any hints?

Thanks,
Bailey

I live in Marietta and I have not found one yet. We have a West Marine, but supply and knowledge are limited. I would be curious if someone knows of one. We do have plenty of snow ski shops. Go figure.

I stopped in that West Marine for a few odds and ends the other day. Saw their limited board/ski/tube selection.

Ambush (buywake.com) is in Kennesaw, but I don't think they have any skis.

Forgot about Ambush. How was their selection of wake boards?

What about atlanta inboard? Thier satalite location in Columbia, SC has a small pro-shop. And Ozmosis is in Talking Rock.

It's been awhile but I recall a boat dealer on N Marietta Prk Wy (120 Loop) and Roswell Road.
Went in for something and looked around at their selection of watersports, quite large.

JOA Marine in Marietta is no longer there due to GADOT highway improvements and has moved to Lake Lanier Boating Center, Holiday Road, Buford, GA, 1-770-945-0530.

I was wondering what happened to JOA. I live a couple miles from the JOA in Marietta. That was were our boat was purchased 19 years ago. We figured business was slow so they moved everything up to Lanier. Sign on the building still says temporarily closed.

You could try Sun and Ski Sports in Lawrenceville at Discover Mills Mall. They have a pretty decent selection of intermediate type of gear. They mostly have HO stuff

There use to be a shop off 336 (I thinks its called Wills. You would have to drive a few miles into town (east) then 1/2 north on the main road. There handle ski stuff and in the winter, ski stuff. Her husband also works on inboards. I haven't been there in a couple of years and not sure if its still in business.

I'd get the combo's from Dick's or Overton's. The Slalom ski will be difficult. Watersports Central (Mastercraft dealer) had a small pro shop, but I haven't been there in 2 years either.
Good luck,

Not from the Dalton area, although it's said to be the "Carpet Capital Of The World".
For whatever that's worth ...
