94' LT1 engine.

I noticed the last few days in Idaho, at 3/4 to full throttle the engine had a very slight hesitation. It was brief and could be described as just a "hickup" or drop in the engine's rpm and then it went back to original rpm. I originally thought it might just be a low tank of gas and added some more fuel. Later on, the engine did the same thing again. I changed the filter last year and have put on about 30 hrs this summer plus a little more last summer.

I am guessing a new fuel filter but are there any other ideas just in case?

Thanks!

Have you checked the fuel pressure?

What about the screen on the bottom of the fuel pump? What about the in-tank screen?

Is your pump making a high-pitched whine?

I have not checked the pressure nor any of the screens. I know there is a thread somewhere how to do it but couldn't find it.

I've heard the fuel pump whine since I've had it (1.5 yrs). I assume this is normal.
