I have an 04 X Star and one of the pistons on the calipers will not release and I need to replace it along with the pads and maybe a new rotor if I cant get it ground down. Does anyone know the manufacturer and/or part numbers for these products? I have a buddy who is a mechanic and he could not see a manufacturer on the calipers or rotors. Just looking to see if this is something I can order or if I need to go through my dealer.

Thanks

Do some searching and you'll find quite a bit about this here on the forum. However, the brake components are made by Reliable Tool and they have been known to replace them free of charge depending on what you have. I got a new set from Reliable, had my rotors turned, and they work excellent. Otherwise there is some cross reference; if I remember right it was like a 89 chev cavalier, but look into this further before buying anything because I am not positive.

Good luck,

Brian
