Guy I got it from bought it in 1985!!
Any way he gave me a 3 ring binder that says mastercraft on the front & spine with a bunch of MC stuff in it. Original owners manual, engine manual, new kneeboard anouncement, warranty disclaimer on leaving the boat in the water etc

I have never seen one before or even heard one mentioned. Any body else got one of these? How about with the 440 engine? this one has all the specs & info on ford & chevy but no chrysler.

I have one of these manuals you are talking about, unfortunatly no Chrysler 440 specs...just Fords and up to the 460 Chevy. Still a good old owners and maintanience manual though

I have an '83 with a 351. From what I understand, they put different power plants in the boats, including the Chrysler. My guess (and I'm hoping someone can chime in with more facts) is that when they became short on engines, they filled the boats with the Chryslers.

With a 440, that things gotta go like a bat otta h3ll. Definitely a rare find. Post pics when you have them.

I've seen someone around here with a 440 Chrysler in the old S&S. I think it was up for sale a while ago. Don't know how many were made with it, but I assume not many. Congrats on your acquisition, and like the others said, please post pics!

Thanks guys. I will get some pics soon as I get it cleaned up. It was really dirty, been sitting for years getting the motor replaced. Jim it still has an emblem on the drivers window that says powerslot. It is identical to the white & blue one that is/was for sale.
I am a mopar fan is the reason I wanted it, cant wait to get it in the water & feel the pull

I also have one of the old owners manuals. From what I can tell, they didn't make an owners manual in 1990 for the Maristar 210, only for the 240. They didn't start putting out anything for the 210 until 1991. So, I have to go off the 1991-93 manual for specs, which show things a little different than what the '90 actually is (i.e. no speedo pickup by the raw water intake, but on the stern with dual pitots, no companion way storage in the bow, different dash layaout, etc).

Black 3 ring binder with gold print MasterCraft on it, got the same thing with a parts manual and the disclaimer and the original owner certificate with the boat number on it. I've scanned it all cleaned them up and saved to a pdf file. My 81 manual is the one in the MasterCraft manual section on the MasterCraft home page. But nothing about the Chrysler in it, sorry. Goodluck!!!

Well the years of neglect... There is quite a bit of water in the foam so I am going to open the holes up & dig it all out & replace it.

In the CCfan reference section, the service manual for the 440:

Reference section is a great resource by the way.

LOL The 351 did everything I needed to do but there is no replacement for displacement!!
Old MOPAR guru here in town says it should be 425-450 HP when we are done.

Those Super Slots have got a big ole barn in the middle to cover all them horses. Congratulations on finding a nice unique boat. Can you tell if this is a wood stringer boat or a full fiberglass boat since this is the year of the change over? He mentioned wet foam and digging it out

This one would be fuul fiberglass. The wet foam syndrome is/was the downside of the first all fiberglass boats.

Thanks guys.

Yes it is all glass.

move the motor cover a 1/2" any direction it hits something!

Ski King- Am I wrong thinking I need to get the foam out & dry it up?
Reseal all the screw holes then refoam it.

endl, Yeah motors done, I waited about a month or a little more for him to finish it up. I planned on throwing the carpet in it, finishing up the detail on the motor & doing the seats. Seems this floor/wet foam is common, just a minor setback! Wont take long to knock it out, it will be done & I wont have to worry about it anymore. I really appreciate your help with it.

Been working a little on replacing the foam under the floor (water logged) I have a small piece of wood (3/8") right where the drivers feet are. I thought there was no wood in this boat but there is a little. Anybody else ever seen this, its original.

That boat is going to be awesome! I have no idea about the wood at the driver's feet though.

Fell far behind, winter came and went a couple times. I bought an 86 190 to use while I piddled with this one. Moved and had to pile everything in it and put it in storage but today I took it to the lake, still not 100% but man has it got the power!! Almost 3 years to the day.
