My driveshaft broke this weekend, and when it slid back the prop got the rudder and got bent up. :( Is there any place in Arkansas (would be even better if around Southeastern or Central AR) that repairs props that you guys would recommend me to? Somebody who does quality work at a reasonable price would be nice. Or should I just send it in to OJ? About how much am I looking at spending on this? Three of the four blades have dings in them, no breaks.

Send it to OJ. Used to be a 4 blade was $85 plus shipping with just a few days turn around once they receive the prop. Easy as can be.

That sounds really reasonable, I figured it would be much more than that. I'm going to try and get it in the mail tomorrow so I can get it and the new shaft in and get this boat going sometime in the near future.

Even our local Mastercraft dealer (skibennets.com) is sending all their props to OJ. I actually have a little bend in one blade that I have to bring to them this weekend. They said within a week they'll have it back. Not sure of the price yet, but I'm expecting less than $100. You also have Gus Campbell's (Official Mastercraft dealer) in Monroe, LA. Which is about an hour south of the Crossett/El Dorado area.

There is a place in Ft Smith that does prop repair. They make a trip up here to NWA and pick up props at all the shops once a week. They might do the same in LR. I had one of mine worked on. I think they only charged me 85.

Thanks guys, but I had already sent it off to OJ. They called today, 100 dollars and it should be back in a few days. Not terrible, just ready to be back out.
