View Full Version : Price for an X-15?

So I've been considering upgrading boats recently and may have found a decent buy on an '07 X-15. Pretty well loaded, 4 tower speakers w/ lights, 16 speaker stereo, subs, MCX, tandem trailer, heater, heated seats, snap in carpet, cover, etc, etc. Boat has about 60 hrs on it.
Let's say I could get the boat for between $40k and $45k. It's a private owner, not a dealer.
Decent deal, smokin deal, anyone done better than that?

Even at 45k thats not a bad price, X15 dealer price will run you between 53k to 60k
depending on options.45k to 50k'ish private sale, depending on options.
Sounds like a good price, try to work him closer to 40k and i think you'll get a hell of a deal :D

Depending on the color, if it has a cover, pp, etc. I would say that's a really good deal. Cheapest I have found was $45k in Cali (black and white colors). Closer you get to $40 = smokin'

That sounds like a great deal. I wish when I boat mine I could have found a deal like that.

Sounds like a pretty good deal. I just bought an 06 X-15, loaded out, with 190 hrs for $39k. It was the best deal I'd come across in a lot of looking. I know the book on an 06 X-15 w/trailer is between $45k and $53k, depending on condition. Add a year newer and less hours and I'd say that even at $45k you're getting a good deal.

40-45K is a very good deal.

Seems like a really good deal to me, I always thought the 15 was up there in price range.

Thanks for the responses. I know everyone seems to be asking $50k + for x15's of any year, but hard to tell in this economy what's a real price and what's wishful thinking on the sellers' part.
I keep posted on how it turns out.

Just saw this old thread.
FWIW, I kept low balling him and ended up losing out. He was going to go $44.5k. Sold it for that.
In retrospect it was a very good deal, but passing on it gave me an idea of where the lower end of the market was.......and the X2 fits in my garage!

I wouldn't feel too bad....a friend of my just picked up a mint 2007 X-45, loaded with 45 hours for 38k. The guy was going bankrupt, owned it outright and just had to liquidate. Outragous deal, but if you got the time to hunt, these deals can happen.

Yeah, there's a few real stupid deals out there, hope it gets better for everyone, but it will be a slow recovery. Although I don't have too much sympathy for people who leveraged paper (inflated home values) to buy stuff they totally couldn't afford on their income.
The X15 guy was unloading his for payoff which was good.
The poor X2 guy I bought from had to come to the table with almost $7k for me to buy it!
