Any suggestions on bimini tops? I have a 1992 prostar 190 and a skylon. I know there is good and bad ones, but can you drive and talk with a pole going up through the center of one? Or is it something you just have to deal with?

I had one prior to getting a tower. They are ok. I would get a custom one.Rich

I recently helped a friend install a Sunbrella bimini he purchased through Overtons. 5ft long and we measured the height he wanted from floor to the top and the width at the mounting locations and ordered accordingly. Very good quality and the price was right. Cost less than half of what a Johnson would have.
I put a custom bimini on my 89 240 maristar with stainless hardware and it cost me about $900. Decided against a cut out or zipper for my skylon. You can definitely do it yourself through Overtons for much much less. Just depends on what you want.

We just installed a Johnson Bimini with the zippers for our Fly High. Great Product !! Johnson had the dimensions in house for our boat (97 ProStar 205) and the bimini fit was perfect. Expensive yes but at 40 mph the top is tight and the zippers allow us to leave the fly high in place.

I have an Overtons bimini and like it. I've had it for about 5 years with no fading or rips.
