Getting ready to do some fluid changes this week and I'm wondering what's the best oil and tranny fluid/filter to use. Thanks everyone.

Indmar owner's manual applicable to your engine...

It provides more maintenance information than the MasterCraft owner's manual you got with the boat.

Any 15W40 oil that meets those specs is what you need. Current specs are CJ-4/SJ, but you may only be able to find earlier spec oil, and CI-4+ or CI-4/SJ is fine for both transmission and engine - typical brands would be Pennzoil, Rotella T, Chevron Super Delo 400. Note that these oils may be labeled as being for diesel applications. Don't pay attention to how the oil is labeled, pay attention to the API specs because that's all that matters.

Oil filter - best off with something like a Wix 51069 or NAPA Gold 1069 - they're pretty available. The Pennzoil PZ-3 that they recommend is reportedly not such a great filter.

Note: Although Indmar currently recommends 15W40 in your transmission, and that's generally how they come from the factory, it's not impossible that it came from MasterCraft with Dexron ATF. Either lubricant is fine, but it would be far simpler to just replace with what's in there. Check it - if it's red, you need Dexron III or IV, if it's brown, you should use the same 15w40 oil you use in your engine.
