I can't believe it....
My 89 Tristar is alive and running. I would like to thank any and everyone that helped out answering my questions, as odd as they often were.
Come to find out the root of all of the evil that I have experienced with the boat was the carb. Apparently it was not the holly 4160 that it was supposed to be, but an automotive holly with a retrofitted front float bowl. Who knew.
I will post some pics from this weekend.
