Just purchased a 2002 Maristar with a Northstar 330HP motor. Previous owner used it at sea level. I will be running it at 6000 feet. Current prop is a ACME 381 13.5 x 17.5 VL 1 1/8".

What is the Max RPM for "WOT" wide open throttle?

Do I need to change to prop to something different?

I am concerned about overreving.

Thanks for the help.

You will be far better off, and more likely to get valid info, if you talk directly to the propeller mfgrs. I'd recommend you call Eric at OJ Props (http://www.ojprops.com/) (OEM supplier to MasterCraft), or Acme Marine (http://www.acmemarine.com/) (the "other" prop mfgr). Both make excellent products and will be happy to talk to you on the phone or by email and give you advice on your specialized propeller application. They'll make recommendations based on your hull, boat weight, engine size and desired application (wakebording vs slalom etc).

You will need to change the prop for Tahoe. Feel free to give me a call to talk about your options. Eric @ OJ PROPS - 800-359-9730
