I hit a rock and bent my prop. I have taken it off to get it repaired and the size seems strange to me. It is a 13x15 OJ Legend by what is stamped on it. Also has 7 and 92 on the main body part between the fins. I guess this is date made?????? Boat has the 5.7L chevy 350 motor and 1:1 Hurth transmission. Even the guy I talked to at The Prop Shop in Knoxville thought it was an odd size and he sees alot of props!!! This prop came off a 93 prostar 205 I use to have. When I got my Prosport, I asked the dealer to swap the props from the 93 to the 95 because the 95 one was bent and I never looked to see what size/pitch the prop was before they swapped them. I was looking at different props and I dont see any 13x15 ones!! Most seem like they are 13x12 for that time frame and boat. It is a 3 blade by the way and it isn't marked but I think it is a LH. Is that correct?? Seems most all Mastercraft props are listed as being LH.

The stock prop would have been the 13 X 13 LC 1" 3-blade. I would suggest going to the 13 X 13 LC 1" 4-blade. You are welcome to stop by our plant, we are located in Loudon, TN, if you want to take a look at one.

I always thought that a 4 blade created more prop wash and a firmer wake?

I have no idea if this is the case. I am just now learning some about props. You don't think about em' till you need one I guess!!!:o

I always thought that a 4 blade created more prop wash and a firmer wake?

On my previous boat (93' 205 prostar) the 4 blade actually softened the wake and made it more uniform. It also gave me a better hole shot. :)

this is the exact opposite of what I found

I have a 91 with a Acme 541 (not dissing on OJ) and my buddy has a 93 with a 3 blade OJ and the difference between the props was noticeable to start with, now he had to put his 4 blade OJ (again not dissing on OJ) for a spare and his wake was substantially harder after he put it on plus it had more prop wash
