View Full Version : 87 PS190 quick and easy bulb question

Howdy folks,

Tried to search on this to no avail---probably never been asked because it's usually a no-brainer.

My bow light is out, and as I'm planning on doing a rare night cruise tonight, I went to replace it. Unfortunately, there was no bulb in there (which is a completely different mystery).

Normally I'd just take the old bulb to west marine and get a new one, but since I don't have an old one to reference, can anyone tell me the type of bulb I need to get?

Just ignore Mr. UNIQUE AWESOME smart azz, here's your info from on the bulb,
12v, 10a, Perko.71, 1 3/16" o'all length, 3/8" diameter and can be found at most any auto parts store, boat dealers and marine outlets like West Marine, normally used for automotive overhead dome lights,

Get a couple extra, just in case there is a short somewhere, and it blows another bulb. That may be the reason the bulb was taken out in the first place.
