Have any you guys saw the new Axis Boat being made either next door on in the Malibu Factory. This boat has the pickle fork front and when in the water looks alot like half X-STAR half Malibu. Interior looks very cheap to me. Rumor is that it is loaded out at 44,000

It has been confirmed on this board that MC helped Axis.

I don't know where you are getting your information but the truth is we are behind Axis. Actually they are just licensing the pickle fork, X-Star thingy from us. It is part of the plan I referenced earlier that we have in place for recovery...

Speaking of Axis, I am doing some market research - what do you guys think about the potential direction of our urban campaign. "Want to know more about wakeboarding? Just Axis."

Feedback?

My son rode behind an Axis at a tournament a few weeks ago. It wasn't a pickle fork but it was a nice looking boat. He said the wake was pretty good as well.

I'm a MC man, but I'm all for competition, as it only make each manufacturer push a little harder to be considered the best.

Yea, I know, but I believe it is a joke, some of Jason's humor, before he closed the thread.

I saw them at the boat show. It's a budget entry level boat. Pretty bare bones.

Personally I wasn't really impressed. I supposed it would be alright if you wanted new on a budget.

Saw it a boat show too. Liquid Sports (the former MC dealer) down here is carrying them. They are a low buget production, maybe good for entry skiers in our current economic climate. However, I dont see any CC, MC, or Mali owners trading in.
