Ran into a problem this weekend with my Accurate wakeboard handle. It must have gotten either sunscreen from peoples hands on it, or it was laid in some sort of oil based liquid because my handle (EVA grip) is extremely slick. Any suggestions on how to clean this off or has anyone ran into this problem and found a solution?

I would think a soak in a detergent that breaks down oil based products would do the trick, but I dont want to make it any slicker than it already is...

Any suggestions?

Thanks ahead of time.

Pure Tea Tree oil will clean it and not damage it.

I'd think simple green or a similar degreaser. Never heard of the product above.
