I am going to be redoing an older stars & stripes & was wondering about a spray in bedliner on the floor & sides ( white or light grey or blue) then have a carpet set made that snaps in or neoprene pads glued down. Thoughts??

I remember about 15 years ago the owner of one of the bedliner companies (Rhino, iirc) restored an old ski boat (MC I think) and sprayed the interior. Seems like a good idea as long as you can still lift the floor or anything else you need to get to in case of repairs.
I'm in the process of doing the floor of my 86 right now. Went with Ultra Tuff Coat from Overton's. Have the primer down and will apply the paint/coating in the next day or two. Will update once I get this complete to let you know how it turns out.
I have the same mindset though, put this down and then put in some carpets around the motorbox. I'm in salt a lot and carpet just doesn't hold up!

Funk, yes please let me know how it turns out. Pics would be great also.
It sticks to everything!!!
I had a Sea Doo Speedster, I really liked just hosing it out. I did add a neoprene/ foam mat set to it.
