Upgrade Decals?

So I broke out the rubbing compound and wax and got the gel coat looking better. Now I'm thinking that the decals are in need of an upgrade since the ones there are starting too look a bit sad. I'm thinking about going to newer decals as opposed to replacing with with the same style. I saw this other thread and think something similar would look right. I also included a few pictures so you can see what I'm working with. Let me know what you guys think.
