Hi all!

I have some pretty bad seams coming apart on my 2001 209. It is on the sundeck trunk lids. I have tried the vinyl repair stuff, but it did not last.

Any thoughts? Should I contact Jim?

Thanks!

Grover - I have the same problem with my back seat on a 2002-209. The seams for this era of boats has been a sore spot with a lot of people. You can no longer get new skins direct from MC - so I would suggest you find a local upholstry shop to help you with a recover.
The rest of my boat looks pretty decent - so I am waiting until it more of it looks bad and then I will get the bad covers redone and hope the match is close.

I have a guy in South Florida or Tennessee that could make it look brand new. He made this seat from scratch for my 97 205

I lost my entire sunpad on the freeway and made a new one and had a boat upholsterer do it.

How does a sundeck fall off the boat? Here are some pic'c of mine before and after. The before was the previous owner. Now you can see why I had to make a new bench seat from scratch.
