Setting autographs on T-shirts/clothing?

I bought a prop off of the Freddy Krueger site 'www.thenightmare13.com' (extremely good price BTW) and then realized that I was communicating directly with Freddy.

I was a little star-struck, not only because he kicks @ss, but because he has one of the coolest MasterCrafts ever.

So anyways I asked him if I bought a couple of his T-shirts whether or not he would sign them with his current PB. I just got my autographed T-shirts in the mail today. I would like to wear mine -the other is for dad- once and a while so it is enevitably going to need to be washed every once and a while.

Is there any way I can protect the jiffy markered autograph? Setting the autograph and washing instructions?

I would be wary of trying to set it and wash it, I would probably take the shirt and have it framed. But that is just me. I have no other advice to add.
