Ok, I've got to be missing something:confused:

I have a couple of items that I had posted in the market place and it looks like both items are now sold; but I can't figure out how to delete the ad???? What am I missing?

You and me both. Great question. I just posted in the notes that it was sold.

There is a nearly unlabeled icon on the bottom when you pull up "my ads" and you're looking at the add you placed. One is to edit and one is to delete... can't remember what the other icons do. It took me forever and a lot of searching to figure that out. Bad web page design.

Just for future reference.

Use the Edit Icon (circled in red).

Once in the edit window, scroll down to the bottom of the page and check the box that will delete the ad (circled in red).

I will be changing the title of this thread and relocate it to the TeamTalk Help section so it will hopefully help others in the future.

Mine are gone too. That's a tough little icon to find. Thanks Mod 1.

Just curious here!

Is there ANY way to update the listings on the "Market" tab in which used boat adds appear?

There are some listings from 2007 on there..... Many of the boats have already been sold!

This is a GREAT tool for someone in search of a MasterCraft or for someone who is selling one.....

It just makes searching for a new MasterCraft frustrating when the majority of these boats are not even on the market anymore….

Thanks,

Ted

Maybe TT Admin can in some way, during the new site setup/revamp, install an 18 month time limit for any ad, that will automatically void it when the time is up.
Apparently some people who want to sell, buy, swap stuff just don't care and move on without removing their ads.
We had Moderator who once tried to clean the Marketplace up, but gave up for the grief he got over doing it, go figure!

Did I miss something - are we looking at upcoming changes?

45 days would be plenty for length of a for sale posting. Works out OK on craigslist.

I agree....... 45 days and an option to re-list for subsequent 45 day intervals..... That would be optimal!!!

How do I remove an ad that I posted?
How can I go back on an existing ad and add pictures?

the controls are located at the very bottom center of your ad... you must be logged in of course. hover your mouse over the icons - it will show you the edit options.
