the bands on the wakeboard racks?

Never really knew how the racks worked just piled the new wakeboard and surf board in the boat and realised no band to hold them in. Should I just use bungies or is there a better method?

We just use the bungie straps , have not found anything that works better but it seems like you have to have them because we had a board come off when hitting some hard waves

Make sure you put your wakeboard in so that the heels are pointed to the inside of the boat if the racks are facing outward. I had a board come out in hard waves but it was put in backwards.
