Does anyone know where I can purchase the special tool to remove the output flange nut on the ZF\Hurth transmission? I am working on replacing the rear seal as the leak is driving me crazy. Any help would be appricated.

thanks

Well, I don't know why the images aren't showing up- probably something with Google Photos, but anyway, I bought an impact socket of the correct size (1 1/4" for my PowerSlot), machined it down to fit the gap, and then machined flats on the back side so I could hold it with a wrench.

I am about to start the rear seal replacement, like to buy the parts and get the 1.25 socket. I can't find the manuals or other threads with pics that mikeg205 referred to?

Good luck. I ended up borrowing a makeshift socket from the marina's distributor that sold me a new transmission. Thing looked like a regular socket with metal strips welded to the outside. Extremely shady but worked.
