My wife, two boys and I free ski up at the north end of Wateree. The water is not as clean as Murray but you can usually find smooth water and it is close to home. A friend has a course just down from the state park but the fishermen cut the mainline so he sunk it, we are going out to resurrect it in a couple of weeks but the motivation is low since we also ski on a private lake with a course.

We board down by the dam on the south end. The furtherest i have been up on the lake is to the marina off of 97. We usually hit the boat launch right off 97 out of Camden.

We are in Blythewood so we put in up at the other end of the lake at Taylor's creek, just up from the State Park. The north end is far less congested and I think has smoother water. We have closing ceramonies for the boys baseball this Saturday but may be out on Sunday. If the weather looks nice we may go down the lake and look for you.

Where do you keep your boats on Wateree? Do they have dry storage?

I just trailer it back and forth everytime. I think there is some storage up 97 towards 77 a little bit over at the big marina.

Mine stays in the garage at home when not in use. I have not seen dry storage on Wateree but I stay at the north end.
