I just bent my prop a couple of days ago. Not too bad, hit a stump at idle speed and slightly bent two blades. Not that big of a deal but it is going to take a week and a half to get it back from the prop repair shop. Biggest bummer is no boat Memorial Day. I wish I had a "throwdown" prop for just such an occasion. Our home lake is pretty stumpy. Any advice on an affordable back-up? The one I have now is a bronze four-blade.

That's unfortunate, if I were you I would be on the horn calling every dealership around. It's always a good idea to carry a spare prop. You never know when you will need it. Especially on a Lake like yours. Good luck, would be shi..y to not have the Mastercraft for the weekend.

If I were you I wouldn't be thinking about affordability, but rather spending whatever it takes to get a back up prop because a back up is priceless in your situation.
