Seems like a great deal! Nice clean boat and the zoom gives you a huge picture.

The ad says max speed 58 mph
I don't think so, Tim!!! Whoever wrote the ad doesn't know much about this boat. Price sounds ok though. I heard the 98 doesn't have a very good slalom wake, anyone know if that's true?

Tim's wake is great... Tim's w/LT-1 doesn't run 58mph. and it has 350hp.

Isnt something missing here if this is a 98?

I think I would add them... I know how Farmer's boat does with them, but not without..

The add also say it has a 4 cylinder engine.
Must be a BIG 4 to get 58 mph...
Edit
Just noticed that PS 82 saw the same thing and and was faster then me to mention it.
I type as fast a turtle with boxing gloves... :D

new bern, north carolina, is near the coast from what i remember. be sure to check for possible salt water deterrioration. think it also is near jacksonville, nc, which is the home of camp lejeune marine base.

The hydrorails were not standard until 1999. They were available for the 98 as retrofits for some time but last word I heard on the subject was that they were no longer available. Doesn't mean it's not worth a phone call.
I just got done skiing behind a 1998 (205) with the 308 hp engine. No way that boat does 58 mph, but why on earth would you need to.
The saltwater use would be a concern.
