Had a HUGE scare when we de-winterized my boat. Turns out, on the right (drivers) side the block drain plug is up towards the front, unlike the left side which sits all the way in the rear. Because the engine tilt, the right side will not completely drain - I even went up and down all kinds of hills on the way to our winter storage - still left water back there. Luckily, I had a freeze plug pop out instead of cracking the block - which the dealer said was unusual as freeze plugs will often stay put, allowing block to take the damage. So, don't just drain the 351 - antifreeze it up to be safe.
