Does anyone know how to remove the drivers seat on an X7 or prostar. There appears to be some teeth along the one side that hold the seat in place for moving the seat forward and backward but it will only go to a certain point. My inclination is the thing should slide all the way forward or back and slip off, however mine only has a range of about 6 inches. Any help would be appreciated

Slide it all the way forward and remove the 2 screws in the tracks going into the fiberglass base. Then, slide the seats all the way back and remove the 2 screws going into the fiberglass base.

Thanks but I can only expose the front screws, it won't go forward enough to get to the back, If this is the only way I think I might have a slightly bent track then that is stopping forward motion

No, this is the way it is. The rear screws should be driven in at a 45 degree angle or so. Get a screwdriver with a long shaft and go after it. Also, sit in the chair and slide it forward as much as possible. The extra weight of a body in the seat will give you an additional 1/2" or so.

Question...are the seat rails screwed into the fiberglass base or is there an access hole under the seat that allows you to get to washers/nuts or a backer metal plate?

The seat rails are screwed into the black fiberglass seat base.

You also need to flip up the masterview seat to get to the front screws....

Anyone know what screws are used to screw the seat down? I removed my seat to install a seat heater, recarpet, and restore my boat. Put the boat back together and it seems the only parts I didn;t label and cant account for are the screws that hold the drivers seat track. I have no idea what I did with them, but they appear to be pretty short and possibly had a washer or a large head.

I just removed my seat yesterday. If I recall, the screws are stainless steel, pan phillips head, and about 1-1/4" or 1-1/2" long. I can get you better dimensions when I get home this evening.
