Hi all,
Not sure what to call them so pardon my ignorance. I have a small (very small) leak coming from the front of each exhaust manifold. The leak trickles where the water hose goes from pump to manifold....Nnt at the hose but where the fitting that the hose hooks onto that is screwed into the manifold....that thing. Well it is a "rubberish" material. I can't unscrew it as the hex just flexes around. I wanted to unscrew it then apply some pipe tape around the threads and screw back in. I used a huge wrench but the head that the wrench fits over just bends around. I thought about using some pliers but I didn't want to tear up the hex.
Any suggestions?
