I hear you, my border collie will start barking if you fall down, sometimes, she's not totally reliable. As long as she isn't too busy trying to bite the spray over the side of the boat :D

The first evening ski on Erk's 190 was a blast.

When we put the boat in the water was a little choppy and the rain was just starting to come down. But after about 15 minutes, the wind was gone and the rain had stopped. The water was glass for the rest of the night.

Gotta say that the boat is in GREAT shape, motor, seats, carpet, dash and trailer.

No gas pedal or disk brakes though :D

Looking forward to getting out more with Erk and crew this summer!

Congrats go out to Erk on a long process that has ended in a great boat. :toast:

Did the boat come with the boom or is that Rockman's. That is a sweet deal if it did!

Erk, you are very generous. I would not have been in the boat at all, especially when you guys were on that glass.

The boat did NOT come with a boom, that was Rockman's boom. I am waiting for my boom and fly high to arrive still.

I just drove through there yesterday on Rt 31! I have customers in that area!
Elgin, South Elgin, St Charles, and Aurora.
St Charles is a beautiful area.
Maybe next time I'll need to put my ski and gear in the car. :D

seems like anytime after 6 or 7pm the river really quiets down and there is glass to be found somewhere out there!

WHen do you usually head out on the Fox. I have my Maristar always at the ready only thing is that my kids schooling gets in the way.
I live 2 mins from the ramp at boy scout island and am always looking.
I figure it was you I was watching the other day?
Any problems with the depth?

First time out this season! No pictures (forgot the camera) but had a great time, only skiied one set 'cause boat traffic was heavy and no legal spotter.

Quick story...When leaving the garage, my wife asked if I already started 'her' to make sure it will work. I replyed don't need to, its a MC. Got to the water put her in and started immediately as if we had just changed skiers...I Love my MC!

If you want to ski, give me a call, or come on down when you see us out there. I have a silver dodge durango that will be followed by a 1996 MC Prostar 190 that is a tan gelcoat and dark blue stripe..seen below.

As far as depth issues, I only use 1.7 miles of the river after the no wake buoys near boy scout island. We stop at "Fords" house, the one w/ the white dock and white railings since there are serious depth issues in some spots beyond there. I towed somebody back on Saturday since they found the places with depth problems. It is deep enough for the boat, but in some places I can stand.

P.S. I am not a GREAT skier, so don't expect much if you come down. PM me if you are interested.
