I've looked at a lot of posts on other forums on the subject of adding a folding tongue to a trailer. I'm leaning towards installing a retrofit Pivit Hitch unit on my MC trailer, but I'm interested in hearing your opinions on the subject.

What does the MC Factory do to add a folding tongue?

Great post Sodar. I have to ask, was the bow crank in that position before the upgrades? I really don't have an issue with the length of my trailer, yet. My current storage area was built just for the boat but who knows what is in store after I retire.

Yes, the bow stand stayed in the same position.

I talked to Dave from Pivot Hitch a couple of years ago and was very good to work with. I was about to pull the trigger and get the pivot hitch but my storage needs changed and I didnt need the pivot hitch.
