1997 PS 205 Specs

Does anyone happen to have, or know where I can find the dimensions on a '97 PS 205? I will not see the boat until this weekend (to measure) and I am trying to order some battery cables so that I can upgrade to a dual battery system.

Specifically, I need to know how far it is from the main battery to the drivers side kick plate (underneath the bow cushion). It's an odd request, but I figured someone on here might be able to point me in the right directionso I can that I can take Sodar's advice and order them custom.

Not a specific answer, but it's unlikely to be a straight shot. You'll either need to go around the nose or under the floor.

Sorry, that was what I meant. I intend on going around the nose. With the dimensions of that portion of the boat, I figured I could get pretty close. Otherwise, it'll just have to wait until the weekend.

I have a 2001 209 and I'm gonna try and go to it tomorrow. I can measure mine if you'd like..........should get you in the ballpark. When I added mine, I just put the 2nd battery forward of the main......shorter cables and easier to add the batt. switch. I'll measure whatever you need.

Thanks Gamble, but I think you have the right idea. I already have the amps wired to the existing battery, etc... Think I will just put the aux battery there as well.

Any tips on a clean spot for the battery?
