This weekend the third annual Norris Lake Surf Ice Breaker will be held on Norris Lake. This is for hardcore surfers, beginners or anybody that wants to learn more about wakesurfing. We will meet at Springs Dock on Saturday (April 25th) at 9:00 for breakfast and then head out to surf. We will be spending most of the time between the Peninsula and the big horseshoe by Norris Point. Look for a black and white 2005 X2 or a black and white Enzo that looks like it is about ready to sink. You might see us surfing on a 9' long board, 3ft skimboards or anything in between. Will probably also surf in a spine. This will be a great opportunity for anybody that wants to learn more about wakesurfing or just to have a great time.:)

How far is Springs from Sequoyah? I am trying to get up there this weekend after morning ballgames for the kids. I typically stay around Big Creek/Racetrack area or even Cove Creek.

Great looking set-up 2RLake! I have seen it many times. Now I will stop by and say hello when I see you. I learned to barefoot in racetrack, many years ago, when there were only the houses out near the mouth of the cove, no house, docks, or anything else except glassy water down that long run!
