Hi guys!

I am new here but in the Market for a used MC (particularly a 2001 Xstar)

I have been doing market research for a while and found this "gem" on a salvage auction site. That should tell you something about its condition right there.

I actually inquired with the site about the boat..... It was totaled, by damage due to flooding due to Hurricane Ike.

It is the exact model boat that I'm in the market, but I would be in way over my head on this one. maybe one of you will be intersted.

The hull looks pretty good, but thats it. it is all there though, If you had the cash and the patience It could be a steal...

Anyway - Im still looking so if you know of anyone selling an 01 x-star but clean for 20-25K let me know!

Your looking at a complete overhaul, but who knows you might get it for a couple thousand.

Yea I don't know that it would be worth all the trouble. Just looking at the rear of the boat you can see all of the rust that came out of the holes. Imagine if you replace everything and then can't get rid of some gremlin problem.
