I have a 03 X2 and want to replace the plastic thru hulls for the bilge and ballast with stainless. Iíve still got the boat stored so I canít do any measuring.

Does anybody know what size the thru hulls are?

Is there a good place online to order them from?

Thanks

Ah c’mon. I find it really hard to believe that no one on this site has done this switch before. Do I need to learn the secret handshake or something before all you veterans reply to my posts :)

I'd help but I have a 92. You might want to call www.skidim.com (http://www.skidim.com) and ask them for info.

I have no idea what size they are, but I switched out my black bilge pump discharge with the stainless one on our '89 a few years ago, which required a bit larger hole in the hull and it's still a plastic one with a outer s/s sleeve for appearance, you can see the gray inside. Most any MC dealer should have or can get you some.

Thanks No1. I'll probably just have to wait until the boat is out of hibernation so I can double check on the size. I think I found some pretty cheap online:

https://www.firstchoicemarine.com/p-21761-stainless-thru-hull-threaded-with-gasket-attwood-66559g1.aspx

BTW- I had an 88 Tristar that I thought was really clean till I saw your 89. That thing is immaculate.

Yea, those are real S/S thru hulls.

Thanks for the compliment.
