I know that there where preliminary plans for a reunion this weekend. Glad that it did not come true. We would have all been disappointed. The winds really kicked up yesterday and hit almost 60 MPH WOW. No way to do a SKI SHOW in that or even attempt to launch a hang glider from a 197.

So...I went today. The weather cleared after 1 PM when the show ended
Rainy and dreary from early AM till shows end.

Good to see a few owners there. The SANGER DRAG/GO FAST boat MULTI color motor
belongs to Dr. Mark Alkire ALKIRE racing. Some of you might have met him at the reunion last year 05 X-9 NAVY FLAKE w/ a 8.1 in it. And you wonder why. Check out his boat

Andy Hoyt (89 190)was there from NC. Garry Stout (88 PS 190 slot) from Tampa along w/ Dan Voelker (01 Sportstar) and Mike Harvey (01 209)

I guess Sat was AWESOME...check it out next year

Those are some amazing boats! I can't even imagine the upkeep on a toy like that. It shows that each person who owns one of those beauties has a passion for their piece of history.

Sorry I let this thread pass by, what a great bunch of pictures Jim. My Dads ChrisCraft looked alot like "Sip to m'lou" at the very begining of the pix but Dads didn't have such a barrel back to it as I remember. My folks had a place at a lake in central IL. and back in the 60's there was a guy on the lake that had a boat that looked exactly like the yellow one with the headlights and fins on the back that looked like a car. It was grouped near the middle of the pix. Thanks alot for putting up the web site they were great to see!!!

I don't know what they taught you up there in Yankee land, But those would have been grammer errors and NOT spelling errors.
