does anyone know of any places around the dfw (texas) area that does motor work for cheap. any information would help. BTW i have a 1987 mastercraft prostar 190

Since you said "around," bring it over to Ski N Sports in Tyler. Their rates are pretty cheap by ski boat dealer standards and Shannon is the king of service. I wouldn't want anyone else working on my boat.

well thank you for the help. also im lookin for interior for the boat im needing the hole pieces as in drivers seat, back bench etc etc

Locally? Just find a good shop and make sure they use a good marine vinyl. There's a good guy in TN that used to work for MC that a lot of people have been happy with as well. You can't get exact replacements for an 87 at this point, so you just have to fend for yourself.

Whitten machine In Lewisville supposedly does a lot of inboard marine work. I have never used them but they were very nice and informative over the phone
