I have found a great deal on a 1995 Maristar 195 at National Liquidators for $7000. That's cheap! Only problem is I'm in NC and the boat is in Ohio. Anybody know a cheap way to get it shipped here? Any TMC members around Cleveland that would pull it part way to me for cash?

I would check out the gel coat damage first or have them take tons of pictures of it. For a direct drive boat with the radio gone (possibly speakers) bimini canvas, etc with gel coat damage you may be able to find a boat in great condition for a bit more. just my cents

You might want to have someone check the boat out, there is no such thing as a MariStar 195 so who knows what kind of other misinformation is out there.

We've seen a couple of auction boats come through, some were ok and 2 have had cracked blocks due to improper winterization, 1 had massive gel coat damage which was not visible in any of the photos. I can not stress enough that it is YOUR duty to check the motor because an auction won't give you your money back EVER!

Yes, that's it, but I just found out it does not come with the trailer, so no deal for me. I'll look closer to home.

I have a 1993 prostar 205 that I am thinking about selling. I bought it new, and it has around 700 hrs. Always kept in garage. Let me know if you are interested.

hey i have a 95 PS205 and its been just a great boat. for this price, I'd think this is well worth checking out. or have someone check it for you. not sure why the trailer says "No" when its obviously sitting on a trailer. even if the motor was toast, or it needed $1000 in work, expecting the $7k is an asking price and that's possibly lowered after an inspection proves whatever it might really need, that's a very solid/simple to maintain platform with EFI - I think EFI is a MUST btw. good luck with your search. I have a trailer in north Alabama that i might loan out if you really need it.

The trailer probably belongs to the liquidator and gets used for whatever he takes in.

Someone in Cleveland should go check it out, that is a great price.
