Depends what the reserve is set at. I recall seeing this on Jim's site for $32k. If you could get it in the 19-22K range it would be a pretty good deal despite the impending TLC needed.

I agree, though the salt is just scary on that motor.

Really I had no idea, I have seen what it does to boats that were not designed for that application. I have seen what the climate along the coast does to everything. I agree with a strong will to keep it clean one can lessen the affects of a salt water climate but can't stop all the deterioration.

Thought that the deposit was to make sure that the seller would not sell the item to anyone else, and also helped the seller because if the buyer does not end up purchasing after winning the auction and paying the deposit, the seller gets to keep the deposit because, you have still gone through the trouble of the sale with the buyer and would otherwise get nothing in return for their troubles???:confused:

then again i could be way off on this.:D
