I keep my boat at camp in the summer, so all I need to bring is gas.

I have forgot my trailer hitch before, so I better add it to the list.

Beginning of each year I make sure I've got this list covered:

http://www.boatingsafety.com/boats/cgchecklist.htm

Then I add my ski equipment, cell phone, sun screen, set of tools, and spare gas can.

In no particular order:
Ice, Pepsi, water, granola bars, zip ties, my slalom ski, wife's slalom ski, wakeboard, wakeskate, my vest, wife's vest, cell phone, CD's, extra impeller, tool kit, first aid kit, sunscreen, floats, paddle, and towels to wipe it down after we pull it out.

I think that about covers it for me...

Cooler, jump seat, skis, vests, towels, gps, bimini, keys, etc.

Always turn the blower on for a second before I even hook the boat up. If I don't hear it, I got a dead battery. Only had to make that mistake once.

Cooler, which I use for the obvious and also as a sun deck in conjuction with a neo-lifejacket, skis, wakeboard, sam'iches, chex mix, my MP3 player(new for this season), 17 of my closet friends and friends' friends.

Depends on who's going
weeknights: just the bare slalom miniums and beers and a couple of towels to dry off the boat.
weekends: a couple of tubes, wakeboard, kneeboard, a thousand sugar drinks, food, snacks, waterguns, balls, sand toys, sunscreen, towels, dog, noodles, cd's, anchors, bimini, the list goes on......

I will not incriminate myself. "Sodas", ropes, gloves, vests, Slalom Ski, Wife's Combos, Coon Dog, sun screen and a couple of Franklins for the fuzz.

ERK, Kudos to you....however, I don't know how you do it.

The greatest things in life are boats and beer.

They invented airplanes so you can go and visit snow.
Don't know how you cats hang out in the snow all winter.

Gotta have a dry suit. Then you only miss 4 months out of the year.

LakePirate
05-17-2005, 01:14 AM
I would be rocking the dry suit all winter. Wear it to work, wear it to the bar, wear it anytime I leave the house.

Don't forget the extra waterpump/alternator belt. What about a bottle warmer for the little guy?

Depends for us too..after work during week...bare minimum, wakeboards, ropes, life vests, wet suits (until the sun starts to shine), towels (lots of them) and some friends oh and cell phones too and can't forget the case of Miller Lite (liquid courage), and when I remember, the camera

On a weekend...wakeboards, kneeboard, wakeskate, tubes, ropes, life vests, wet suits, combo skies, towels (lots of them), extra clothes, cell phones, lots of friends and lots of beer, when I remember, the camera, usually assorted junk food and my husbands wallet.

Things we don't take our of boat...the key, the plug (unless we are draining it), extra life vests, paddles, tool kit, jumper cables, throw cushion, bottle of aspirin, chap stick, slime, sun screen, towels (can't have too many of those), hair ties (for me), sunglasses

I imagine I am forgetting something
