Domednumbers.com They have a font to match your Mastercraft logo. Mine are chrome with a black outline....match my Mastercraft decals perfectly.

I have been looking at getting my numbers from Domednumbers for awhile now but haven't been able to decide what color combo to go with. Does anyone know if the red matches the MC Viper red? Also any suggestions on outline color for me?

don't know about the color, but pretty sure they can match whatever you want. i'd do red with black outline. or you could do red outline with white center that might look cool.

Any decent sign shop could help you out. Where abouts in the northwest are you?

yeah, i'll snap a pic when i get home. goto wakesiderides.com and check out phats 205V. search "paul 205V", i think it comes up that way. mine are the same, except his may be chrome with black border. mine are silver gray with black border. i'm kicking myself for not getting chrome and will probably end up replacing them. :)

the silver gray matches the X-2 decal on my hull, but it would look better if it matched the "mastercraft" at the stern which is shinier. anyway, blah blah blah, i'll get you a pic tonight. :D

that's why i'm thinking maybe red outline with white. it would tie in with the mastercraft on your hockey stick decal.

Bruce, just my opinion, so it does not mean much, but I would not get domed numbers unless you have domed graphics. Since you just have vinyl graphics, I would stick with the same theme for the registration numbers.

my "X-2" decal on the side is vinyl, but everything else is domed/raised.

"mastercraft" on the rear port/starboard, "wake edition" on the transom, etc.

i've also been toying with the idea of replacing my large X-2 graphic with the 60in wide "mastercraft" decal. i think it was from 02-03 or so. it's basically a larger version of the one i have on the rear. it's raised/domed with black outline and silverish/chrome in the middle. i'm thinking my boat would look a lot cleaner with that. i'm not a big fan of those big "X-2" graphics from my 03 model year, but mine's pretty tame, it's silver gray and black with silver flake in it. pretty cool looking on the water. if it was one of the multi-colored one's, i'd have changed it out by now. i'm kicking myself because there was a guy in marketplace that had the 60in for sale, but i chickened out. i had only had the boat for a couple months.

I was looking at ORX-1's boat... my bad. For his boat, I would do straight vinyl.

What does your '03 X-2 look like?

My brotha from anotha motha! White is where it is at!

I would tear every graphic off the boat and rock it all white with a black domed MASTERCRAFT down the side!

yeah, that's kind of what i was thinking. which one/year though?

i had always thought i wanted all black, but white would have always been my second choice. i'm really, REALLY happy with it. it looks so clean.

Get the 2005 Tournament Team side decals. They are 6' long and look awesome. I think JohnE put them on his boat.

Yeah, but I just like the graphics. Put them on an old boat. I don't think UMP would mind being that it's still an old boat.

yeah, those are cool. for sure. i've never seen them up close though and would like to. i almost think maybe they'd look off on my boat because i think that particular one kind of follows the lines of the gunnel. see how the C is quite a bit bigger than the M? it kind of goes like --==-- instead of like -----

maybe it's an optical illusion

here's the one's i was originally thinking about. i'm 99% sure they're the exact same as the one's on the aft port/starboard just larger:

No thats a good point, the X1 and mastercraft are wax but the flags are not. I just want to dress it up a little bit, but not sure doing vinyl would look much different than the vinyl I have on there right now.

i really like the white red 06 and the hockey stick graphics :)

3 favorite ever are 05-06, all black with white hockey, all red with white hockey and all white with red or black hokey.

i'm thinking next boat will be 07+ x-2 though just for the room and storage. the wake on ours is plenty big so no worries there. could really use that wider beam.

Need to get new registration numbers for a red & white 2002 197. Anyone have good results with this color scheme? The mastercraft decals are raised but have white with chrome and black trim. Know where we can get matched ones?

I would have to recommend www.3dlettering.com. I have used him twice. They have a font that matches well to the Mastercraft font, and they are great quality.

Anyone have a pic of the black 3d letters with white or chrome outline on a black hull?
Would like to see a pic. Don't thinkour fish cops around here are too bad that they would squawk over them not being quite enough contrast.
