My wife and son went with me to the first look for charity event at the Chicago Auto Show.
The new Camaro had the biggest mob surrounding the car, bigger than anything else at
the show. The second most popular was the new Dodge Challenger.
Overall the American BIG 3 did a nice job at the show.
An interesting note: Hyundai has evolved exponentially and looks to be grabbing
more market share with new more-luxurious new models, including a V8
supercharged 400+ hp sedan. Look-out Toyota and Nissan!
Overall, it was a nice show. Without all the hype, fancy displays, and
distractions, you could actually focus on the vehicles and really analyze how
you feel about particular models. I hope the economy bounces back and gets the
manufacturers going again. We need manufacturing jobs in this country.

Below is a front shot of the concept Stingray. The second shot is our son sporting his first tux. Once I have a chance to go through all of the pictures we took I can post more if you guys want to see some shots of the new Camaro and Stingray.

We went and had a great time. I agree....the Camaro was impressive, and seems like Hyundai is going for some market share.

Not from the Chicago Auto Show, but from the North American International Auto Show in Detroit last month. A few of my favorites.:)

Auto shows are my weakness... I find myself walking around semi-aroused the whole time looking at vehicles I will only drive in two stiuations

1. In my dreams
2. On a test drive I somehow managed to talk the salesman into doing, even though I probably can not afford it.
