Wondering if anyone knew anything about exhaust riasers. I have a 86 S&S with the indmar 351w. I need to replace the manifolds and riasers, the ones I have pulled off the boat are just a short elbo and when I look at Ebasicpower.com for the indmar they show a picture of a longer one. The riaser extends to the back of the manifold. I haven't called them yet but I was wandering if it matters whether it's short or long other then clearance in the hatch witch I don't think it would be an issue. Thanks

What do the manifold have cast on the sides?
These are the only manifolds I've ever seen OEM from Indmar for that period boat, unless someone has replaced the manifolds or risers before. It should say Indmar or MasterCraft Power on the sides.

86 was the year of transition from PCM (Early 86) then changed Mid Year to INDMAR. Like what Harold has in his photo. MC/ INDMAR no longer makes the EXHAUST MANIFOLDS w/ MASTERCRAFT on the casing. We can get original ones for you no problem. We can also get the PCM ones. Both will work, just need to know which ones you want.

PS Sent you and email explaining this to you

TMCN01 those are the longer ones that I am talking about. I just bought the boat mid summer.I am the second owner of the boat so I don't know what the previous owner put on there but my risers are half as long. I'll be ordering the correct ones. I would post pics but it apears that I'm retarted can't figure out how to post a pick. Check out Ebasicpower.com a set of risers, gaskets and manifolds under 500. Thank you to Jim

save yourself alot of trouble and call discount inboard marine, check out there web site. The best company you will deal with if you have a ski boat. They will even stay on the phone and walk you through it. I replaced mine with osco risers. I don't think you will find oem indmar or mastercraft for that year. I have a 88 prostar and there is no longer a indmar part. Trust me on the company DIM. You will thank me. There is also a guy named Lex Pearson at rambo marine, he is known as the parts guru. He say "if I cant help you we can just talk." Cool guy.

Hope this helps.
