I was wondering if my 2006 X-45 is prewired for transom lights. I am about to install some Abyss 600's and didn't want to run wires if it is not needed.

I found these wires behind the wall in the starboard storage compartment. They don't look like wires for the transom lights, but they are a bit unusual. One is marked 'remo' and the other is marked 'strbd'. The black wires are simply labeled '4' and '5'. I assume those are just ground wires. They appear to be ready for something.

I had time to shoot a quick picture, but did not have time to search for wires of the same color that are loose under the dash or near the control module.

Thanks for any help, if anyone knows what they are let me know.

I would assume the "remo" wire would be for a transom remote. The other may be to the storage comartment courtesy light. You may want to test them with a test light to see when they are "hot" or when power is turned on to these wires.
