GT40? The GT40 is a ford and the indmar is a Chevy.

Provided you have a Indmar 351W Ford then yes the GT-40 heads will work nicely and you will pick up a few pony's in the process

The GT-40p heads will do even better, or so I'm told. The GT40 heads were standard on the Indmar 351 HO Ford engines in 92--93.

Indmar did use ford engines before they went to Gm

The heads will bolt right up. Like Easty said, gt40p or gt40x heads are better, the plain old gt40s hold their own and are a HUGE improvement over the stock E7 heads. slap a fresh intake on there and you're good to go. THe HO that easty mentioned is rated at 285, so they'll flow a lot better than the stock 240 horse setup.

Of course a little port work never hurt...

The GT-40p heads will work nicely. I put on a set about a year ago and enjoyed them all last summer. If you do go with the "p" heads, the bolt holes will need to be opened up to 1/2" but other than that they will bolt right on. You should also look for brass/bronze freeze plugs for the marine engine application (no worries about them rusting out). New heads will also require new head bolts along with the appropriate gaskets.

He was banned from this website. He could not get the proper clearance

Besides he looks like more of a Gecko type to me. Heard he was on that '
forum...oh thats right they are out of business. Look what his recovery plan
did for those folks.
