You asked for pics so here is mine basement bar/mini kitchen. I had a full size refrigerator, mini dishwasher, big prep sink, and lots of cabinet storage. The basement was my man cave......... Unfortunately we just sold this house a few months ago.

What stone did you use? A veneer I guess, natural or the new man made?

We used stone veneer from Dutch Quality Stone (natural blend ledgestone)
The bar top is made of sapelli wood boards (5/4, 8" wide) no stain just poly and the chicago bar rail is oak. The base board is also sapelli with a 2" brass foot rail attached to it.
My carpenter did an excellent job on the bar and the whole basement, I could never duplicate the quality workmanship myself.

No kegerator, but I do have a 36" bottle cooler behind the bar to store lots of cold beverages! :)

Clear Western Red Cedar on the posts and clear fir for the cabinets.

The stone just adds a real warmth and that bar top is impressive!

I am guessing you did that work??? As the rest of your "old" house the basement is stunning.

Yes.... only way to sell these days. A lot of the furniture used however was mine. The main difference is no kids toys present in pic.

It was an awesome house.... a little too big for us. Thankful we sold it in 20 days in this market for close to asking.

Pics of the outside.

So are you building/remodeling a new house in the NW, or just taking it easy for a while?

Some pics of the kitchen.... yes it was awesome. Our house before this one had a better kitchen with nicer appliances, etc.

You can see same western red cedar wood details used throughout the house. The island is Mahogandy. Black granite counters. Basic white custom built cabinets. GE appliances.

Currently renting..... looking for land to buy and build. I can build what you see above but am thinking going smaller with more quality details.

This house for sure had quality but still basic in some details i.e. could have done all solid wood trim and details like fir or mahogandy. Could have used nicer plumbing faucets and trim kits. Could have done exposed beam work instead of traditional framing as pictured. Just some ideas.
