Neither does the crap from his mouth about our brave sons killing innocent women and children.

It goes both ways.

I agree, and if someone wants to bash his politics or dumba$$ comments that is fine. I'm just saying there is no need for racism. Ever!!

I agree wholeheartedly, and not from anyone. I think I know where the frustration comes from though.

Which is why I asked for no replies. I was just wondering what people would vote.

Please just vote. The results will speak for themselves, either way.

The question, of course, is why you even allowed this thread in the first place..

Our politics used to be as straight as could be expected. Now with this whole Coleman / Franken recount fiasco where each day they find ballots the were never counted, precincts that show more votes than registered voters, and counties that are using different standards on how to deal with ballots that are deemed as unreadable; there is no way to tell which is the crooked side. Originally coleman won by a little more than 200 votes. Now after the recount, Franken is ahead by almost 250 votes. And after weeks in court, they still haven't reached a standard for reading the ballots. Our ballots are the electronicly read system where you fill in the oval for the candidate of your choice. How can you go wrong? Of course I always say the average person is a complete idiot, and as long as you view the world with that in mind you are not dissappointed so often.

Seems to be a growing problem voter fraud, election official fraud its starting to feel like a third world election process. We just passed a photo ID law and you would think we had shot the pope. Really its a big deal to prove you are who you say before you vote???? I think Ohio has been going through a lot of voter problems the last few elections too.

Sounds like a good idea. they are trying to do the same thing here. But with the availability of fake drivers license, does this really improve the situation? I wouldn't care if they wanted a retina scan to get the system to work.

One of the big problems with the Coleman/Franken dispute is while going through the ballots, they are using any reason to get them disqualified. The most prevelant is a "distuingishing mark". There are some ballots where someone changed their selection by crossing out their first choice and initialing the change like on a check, then making the the selection they really intended. This causes a distuingishing mark thereby disqualifying the ballot. So to take that to the extreme, ballot officials are looking for anything, even a drag mark from a pencil, to throw a ballot out.

Maybe its time to put myself on that ice floe?
