It does!! Liquid Force has a marketing agreement with Supra, hence their custom boats. The look nice-

Actually, I am the regional sales rep for Liquid Force and have been doing promotional Mastercrafts for years. The guys at Midwest MC are always awesome about helping me dress up the boats each year and the 2009 is no exception!!

The good news is that MC added size to the internal ballast for 2009.

On top of that, in my 2007 and 2008, they added additional soft bag ballast into each of the storage compartments. The soft bags get plummed into the stock ballast plummbing, eliminating the need to use portable pumps. It takes about 4 minutes to completely fill/drain the stock and additional ballast.

It works great!!! I am estimating that each of the bags gives an additional 750lbs of extra ballast. Really nice for surf and wakeboard setups.

Having soft bags allows you to still use the strorage areas in the rear when the ballast is not needed.

roonie did a great write up on adding additional fly high bags. my main concern is the ballast pump timers.

The dealer can re-set the timers for you or provide instructions.
It was pretty easy to do-

Congrats on the boat! I can't take the cred for the graphics this year, I pawned the bulk of the work off to Eric so kudos to him.

I havent seen a published weight on the new X-2 ballast but the new tanks are about 5"-6" taller than previous generations, so much so that we need to have a new bag designed for the additional ballast, that should be coming shortly (We need to get Fly High on board with the program so feel free to call Mike at 800-932-0685 and tell him how important the new bags are)

The upgraded ballast is slick, the bags are designed to work in an X-2 or X-15 and use the exisiting pumps which are reprogrammable! Roonies did the install himself or your dealer can do it Here is a link to the entire kit, we also sell just the bags.

Speaking of Roonies has anyone heard from him lately, I know he moved to the west coast but thats about the last I spoke with him.

Congrats, looks sharp. I've been waiting for my 09' to show up as well, but no luck yet. Still sitting in TN waiting for shipment. I almost did the canadian blue flake against a black bottom. I like what you did, came out nice.

Thanks!! We did the same boat last year with silver flake vs canadien blue flake.
The Black bottom is great and pretty easy to keep clean.

Enjoy!!

Great looking boat. I have a question about the ballast kit. Does it come with everything required, such as both bags and any plumbing that would be needed? Did you also add another bag to the front of the boat? Thanks

The kit comes with everything you need, the bag is just the bag. For this X-2 we did just the rear bags though there is an integrated bow sac that is available, we put that in one of my other buddies boats. The inegrated bow sac fills via the vent line on the centerline ballast, its a little harder to install than the rear bags but is is nice.

Very nice boat. I was in your position this time last year with 08 boat. I did the blue flake with a white bottom....I was afraid the black would be too hard to keep clean.

Any other changes for 09 from 08??

Am I out to luch, or is a Liquid Force a Supra? Seems to me that there is a guy here on our lake with one.

Liquid Force is a wakeboard company (the best IMO) This boat was decaled up for the local Liquid Force rep so that he could help promote the brand and we get a little PR out of it too.

This one is not a wrap, these are vynel decals that we cut in house and then installed on the boat.
