Since we are a group that has already shown we like to buy the best, what other things have you bought that are what you consider best of best for boat, ski, or home use.

For me (and sorry, non ski related):
1. Off ebay, noise cancelling headphones from Planequiet. Around $50 and perform good. For me close to the $300 Bose. Really nice to watch movie on road trip in van also.

2. The low wattage fluorescent bulbs. Typically 100watts of light for 23 watts of power. Saves power, money, and much cooler.

Garmin 60cs GPS. Works at home, boat, treking, auto and especially the motorcycle. Helps check speedos and avoid long dirt roads. Other than that the toaster and a frosty beverage of course! :uglyhamme

Toyota Van - no problems with the two we have owned. '84 nautique - bought it for $2K less than I sold it for 10 years and 300 hours later, they don't build them like they used to.
Maui Jim sunglasses - been able to keep them for 5 years now - best pair I have ever owned.

I think my BIL in Evansville has the same. I know it's 40HP with grip throttle and steering by that handle on the engine. Seems like a lot of engine to steer that way. He has the built in duck blind.

I couldn't live without my dewalt 18 volt tools. It has caused the air gun and the corded dewalt drill to get a whole lot less use.
