View Full Version : Flapper Stopper!

Anyone have a problem with the older ProStars getting the rubber exhaust flapper stuck between the platform slats? I cured it with a piece of cable tie centered over the flapper, drilled and attached on the backside of the platform with stainless screws.

Could be, too late, guilty as charged and I just got fed up with the flapper getting hung!:rolleyes::D

Mine get stuck in the platform all the time. Neat idea, I thought my deck looked OK for a 25 year old boat but daym.... Your's looks better than my living room table.

If you would have just gotten a solid fiberglass platform it would be a non-issue!

Looks like a factory defect to me. I would demand a replacement boat under the lemon law! And that platform should have held up much better than it has.:rolleyes::D

I am also disappointed to see that the underside of the platform is not as well kept as the top. What if some fish was to see that?

I don't have underwater lights, so the fish will never see it!:rolleyes:
